The Facilities Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
- Perform preventive maintenance and log activities in CMMS/CAFM systems
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution within SLA
- Monitor cleaning services, waste management, and site hygiene standards
- Maintain asset registers, service logs, and facility documentation
- Support procurement of tools, equipment, and facility-related supplies
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (Civil Defense, Saudi Building Code, HSE policies)
- Assist with space management, office moves, and parking allocations
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water) and support efficiency initiatives
- Respond to emergency incidents and provide on-call support when required
- Provide support in audits, inspections, and HSE reporting
- Minimum Diploma or technical certification in Facilities Management, HVAC, MEP, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in facilities or maintenance operations
- Experience working with service providers and contractors
- Basic technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general maintenance)
- Familiarity with CMMS/CAFM systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in Arabic & English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
