The Facilities Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
  • Perform preventive maintenance and log activities in CMMS/CAFM systems
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution within SLA
  • Monitor cleaning services, waste management, and site hygiene standards
  • Maintain asset registers, service logs, and facility documentation
  • Support procurement of tools, equipment, and facility-related supplies
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards (Civil Defense, Saudi Building Code, HSE policies)
  • Assist with space management, office moves, and parking allocations
  • Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water) and support efficiency initiatives
  • Respond to emergency incidents and provide on-call support when required
  • Provide support in audits, inspections, and HSE reporting
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or technical certification in Facilities Management, HVAC, MEP, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in facilities or maintenance operations
  • Experience working with service providers and contractors
  • Basic technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general maintenance)
  • Familiarity with CMMS/CAFM systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills in Arabic & English
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
