Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of and compliance to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
- Arrange, conduct and participate in training sessions, HSE Committee and Coordination Meetings.
- Advise supervisory staff regarding accident prevention and improvement related to work methods.
- Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite.
- Monitor the execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure HSE requirements are met as per the project HSE plan and HSEMS requirement.
- Identify existing hazards, unsafe work conditions and/or practices daily and raise observation reports with corrective measures recorded.
- Address and report violations daily and recommend necessary actions.
- Monitor timely reporting of project HSE performance ensuring achievement of HSE goals on project.
- Support implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
