The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible for the comprehensive design and development of road infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical integrity, safety, and efficiency of road designs, contributing significantly to the successful execution of major civil engineering undertakings.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of road projects, ensuring compliance with relevant highway codes and engineering standards.
- Conduct traffic modeling and analysis to optimize road layouts and traffic flow.
- Utilize Civil 3D software for detailed design, drafting, and visualization of road infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in road design and demonstrate:
- Key skill or qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with professional engineering licensure preferred.
- Relevant technical or commercial experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in road design projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. In-depth knowledge of highway codes, traffic modeling techniques, and advanced proficiency in Civil 3D is essential. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills:
Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
