Structural Engineer – Temporary Works

On behalf of our client, a leading general contractor based in Riyadh, delivering large-scale infrastructure and construction projects across the Kingdom, MRG are seeking two Structural Engineers with a focus on temporary works. The organisation is known for its strong project portfolio, technical excellence, and commitment to quality and safety.

Reporting to the Line Manager, these roles will be responsible for delivering structural design and engineering solutions across a range of projects. The positions will focus on ensuring design integrity, compliance with international standards, and supporting project execution.

• Design and check temporary works including scaffolding, formwork, cranes, and gantries
• Review and validate third-party designs and calculations
• Ensure safety and compliance in all temporary structure designs
• Provide technical support during project execution

The successful candidates will have experience in structural engineering and demonstrate:

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant design experience
• Strong knowledge of structural design standards and engineering principles
• Experience in either:
• Bridge and steel structure design.
• Temporary works design and checking.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
