About the Company

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that’s shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

About the Role

Do you thrive in environments where precision, compliance, and leadership directly impact flight safety and operational readiness?

In this role, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of Riyadh Air’s maintenance activities. Reporting to the Chief Inspector, you will manage inspections on aircraft, systems, and components before, during, and after maintenance. You will review work packages, conduct surveillance activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, international standards, and corporate procedures.

This role goes beyond inspections, you will mentor inspectors, lead surveillance checks, validate airworthiness documentation, and engage with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and regulatory bodies. Your leadership will help ensure Riyadh Air’s continued compliance, operational reliability, and world‑class safety standards.

About You

Licensed as an ICAO Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or holding a GACA Repairman Certificate, you will demonstrate at least 10 - 12 years of progressive experience in the aviation sector, including 10 years in aircraft maintenance and inspections and a minimum of 5 years in quality management. You will bring strong technical knowledge of B787 (GEnx) and A320 FAM aircraft, with proven experience leading inspections, verifying compliance, and maintaining airworthiness within a regulated environment.

You are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of GACA, EASA, and FAA regulatory frameworks, as well as ICAO and IATA standards. Your background will include training as a lead or internal aviation auditor, and you will be confident in producing clear, accurate, and concise reports for senior leadership. Fluency in English is essential, while Arabic would be considered an advantage.

We would love to hear from you even more if you bring proven leadership in multicultural environments, strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure. A track record of mentoring teams, driving continuous improvement, and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance will set you apart.

This is more than a quality role, it’s a chance to directly influence the safety and reliability of Riyadh Air’s growing fleet. If you are driven by precision, compliance, and leadership excellence, we want you on our team.
