Overview
The RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and safety of the metro system throughout its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase. This role requires strong technical expertise in railway systems, a solid engineering background, and in-depth knowledge of international standards such as EN 50126. The RAMS Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of RAMS processes, ensuring optimal system performance, risk mitigation, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
The position plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency and long‑term asset reliability within the metro network.
- Manage and oversee all RAMS processes to ensure system integrity, reliability, and safety compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor RAMS strategies aligned with project objectives and international standards (e.g., EN 50126)
- Conduct detailed RAMS analysis to identify risks and improve system performance
- Support decision‑making through data‑driven RAMS assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to integrate RAMS principles into daily operations
- Ensure compliance with international standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor system performance in terms of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety metrics
- Identify potential system failures and implement preventive and corrective measures
- Review and validate RAMS documentation, reports, and analyses throughout the O&M lifecycle
- Support audits, inspections, and certification processes related to RAMS
- Provide technical guidance on RAMS to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of RAMS activities and compliance status
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field)
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in RAMS, railway systems, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of RAMS principles and lifecycle management
- Proven experience with international standards such as EN 50126 (and related standards like EN 50128 / 50129 are a plus)
- Experience in metro, rail, or transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Knowledge of risk assessment and system safety methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical data and generate actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in documentation, reporting, and compliance processes
