Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project‑specific quality assurance (QA) plans, procedures, and inspection and test plans (ITPs) aligned with Mace standards and client requirements.
• Monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards across civil, utilities, and infrastructure packages.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure works are delivered in accordance with QA/QC procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage non‑conformance processes (NCRs), ensuring timely identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and close‑out.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and quality documentation prior to construction activities.
• Coordinate with delivery teams, contractors, and stakeholders to embed a proactive quality culture and drive right‑first‑time delivery.

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the consultancy sector.
• Proven experience in infrastructure project management expertise.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams.
• Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high‑valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
