Onsite Mechanical Engineer — Project Oversight

Proger, a leading independent engineering firm, is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to supervise and monitor mechanical works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Supervise the execution of mechanical works on site as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and other mechanical works based on the project scope.
• Inspect executed works and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
• Support the inspection, testing, and handover process at different project stages.
• Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve technical comments and site issues.
• Ensure that site activities are carried out in line with safety and quality requirements.
• Prepare daily or periodic reports on work progress and site observations.
• Report any deviations from drawings or specifications to the concerned team.
• Support engineers in verifying the readiness of mechanical works for approval.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising mechanical or electrical works on site.
• Good site follow‑up and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of quality and safety requirements on construction sites.
• Ability to prepare clear site reports.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors and project teams.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience monitoring executed works according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Saudi nationality is required; experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Previous experience in the private sector is preferred.
