ThePMV Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and performance of construction plant, machinery, and vehicles across project sites. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment availability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high safety and operational standards for all heavy equipment and fleet assets.

The position involves:
- Monitor and manage the maintenance activities for heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and coordinate timely repairs.
- Ensure optimum utilization and operational efficiency of PMV assets across projects.
- Coordinate with site teams regarding equipment allocation and operational requirements.
- Supervise workshop activities, technicians, and external service providers.
- Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and equipment history.
- Monitor fuel consumption, spare parts usage, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company safety procedures.
- Conduct equipment inspections and support asset condition assessments.
- Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization between project sites.
- Support procurement in technical evaluation of machinery, spare parts, and vendors.
- Prepare periodic reports related to equipment performance, breakdowns, and utilization.
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in PMV, heavy equipment, fleet, or construction machinery maintenance.
- Strong experience in tower cranes.
- Previous experience in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and fleet management practices.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy machinery and workshop operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site requirements.
