Overview
Support strategic network planning and infrastructure development through advanced GIS analysis ensuring accurate spatial data and enabling informed decision‑making for network optimization and expansion.
Your roleDevelop, maintain, and manage GIS databases covering routes, stops, depots, and network assets. Perform spatial analysis to support route planning, service coverage, and accessibility improvements. Support planning of network expansions, BRT corridors, and depot locations. Produce high‑quality maps, visualizations, and spatial reports for stakeholder decision‑making. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integration of GIS data across planning and ITS systems. Coordinate with transport planners, data analysts, and operations teams on network updates.
Support scenario modelling for service changes, demand shifts, and infrastructure upgrades.
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, or Engineering. Minimum 7+ years of experience in GIS and spatial analysis, preferably in transport or infrastructure projects. Strong proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent GIS platforms. Experience with spatial modelling, data management, and visualization tools. Familiarity with public transport systems and network planning concepts preferred. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
