Senior Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh.

• Responsible for all aspects of commissioning for the communication equipment deployed in different projects within the Kingdom.
• Lead all activities related to commissioning, including coordination of site mobilization, managing all aspects of site construction, interfacing with customers, and scheduling resources.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the commissioning process.
• Oversee all activities at the site, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure expectations are met and site safety is maintained.
• Schedule resources and personnel needed for successful project execution.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely completion of all tasks related to commissioning.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to ensure clear understanding among stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on DWDM, MPLS‑TP, and SDH systems, including their NMS (Network Management Systems) for different vendors.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication standards.
• Experience with commissioning and start‑up procedures for telecom equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ability to travel frequently (> 75%) within region/country and internationally as required.
• Willingness to work in challenging outdoor environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
• Experience working on Huawei MPLS‑TP and DWDM systems and their network management systems.
• Experience working on Infinera MPLS‑TP systems and their network management systems.
• Experience with Hitachi Energy telecommunication systems and OTN systems is an added bonus.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
