Senior Geotechnical Engineer; Site Supervision

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and on-site supervision for geotechnical investigations, foundation design, and ground improvement projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with engineering standards, managing site operations, and delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

• Supervise and coordinate geotechnical site investigations, including soil boring, sampling, and in-situ testing activities
• Analyze soil and rock properties to assess foundation design requirements and ground stability conditions
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical documentation for project stakeholders
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Manage site safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with project managers, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve geotechnical challenges and optimize construction solutions
• Conduct field inspections and testing to verify soil conditions, foundation construction, and ground improvement work
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and site personnel
• Evaluate geotechnical data using industry-standard software and analytical tools to support design decisions
• Maintain organized project records, test results, and documentation for regulatory and contractual compliance
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to project teams and clients in a professional manner

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering with at least 5 years in site supervision and field operations
• Strong expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement techniques
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and modeling tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of geotechnical testing methods and laboratory procedures
• Experience managing geotechnical investigations and site characterization programs
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
• Proven leadership experience supervising technical teams and site personnel
• Familiarity with international and local building codes, particularly Saudi Arabian construction standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and geotechnical documentation
• Experience with construction site coordination and contractor management
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Preferred:
  Experience working on projects in the Middle East or Gulf region
• Preferred:
  Advanced proficiency in geotechnical software applications and CAD programs
• Preferred:
  Experience with foundation quality assurance and verification testing
