- Carry out detailed inspections of dry utilities works including duct banks, cable trenches, manholes, handholes, and associated civil works.
- Verify construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans, and method statements.
- Witness inspections, testing, and approvals in coordination with QA and QC teams and consultants.
- Monitor installation of power, lighting, communication, and control duct systems supporting airfield and runway operations.
- Ensure compliance with aviation authority requirements related to airfield lighting, navigational aids, and supporting infrastructure within the civil scope.
- Check workmanship, materials, and installation methods to ensure required quality, safety, and durability standards.
- Coordinate with civil, pavement, wet utilities, MEP, and systems teams to manage interfaces and avoid clashes.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve inspection comments, deficiencies, and close‑out actions.
- Support interface alignment between airside systems and supporting infrastructure.
- Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and site observation records.
- Maintain inspection logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings, records, and handover documentation.
- Ensure all inspected works comply with approved HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Monitor safe working practices in trenches, excavations, and airside-controlled areas.
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems and airside safety procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in dry utilities construction or inspection roles.
- Proven experience on airport, airfield, runway, or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of dry utilities systems including duct banks, cable containment, and associated civil works.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and inspection and test plans.
- Strong inspection, reporting, and quality control skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inspection reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Experience working in airside or operational airport environments.
- Familiarity with aviation authority standards related to airfield infrastructure.
- Knowledge of QA and QC processes, NCR management, and close-out procedures.
- Experience with document control systems such as Aconex or similar platforms.
- Relevant inspection or quality certifications are an advantage.
