As a Technical Specialist, you will serve as the technical anchor within the design team reviewing submissions, resolving design conflicts, and upholding best practices across architecture, structure, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines. This is a high-impact role requiring both subject matter depth and collaborative agility.
What You'll Be Doing- Review engineering and architectural design documents to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with local and international standards
- Advise internal and external teams on complex technical issues, resolving clashes and improving cross-discipline coordination
- Support the development and enforcement of quality control systems, design guidelines, and technical approval protocols
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and design teams to optimize solutions during design phases
- Participate in value engineering and innovation workshops to propose alternative technical strategies
- Evaluate technical reports, calculations, BIM models, and specifications across various design disciplines
- Support technical risk reviews and help develop mitigation strategies during early design stages
- Remain current with international standards, emerging construction technologies, and BIM-based workflows
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical design roles on large-scale building or infrastructure projects
- Broad understanding of engineering principles across structural, architectural, MEP, and civil disciplines
- Familiarity with Saudi building regulations and international design standards
- Strong command of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and discipline-specific analysis tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP, PE, CEng) are a plus
- Experience with giga, ultra-luxury, or Vision 2030 programs is highly desirable
