Job Description Summary

Ready to gain hands‑on experience and take the first step in your career journey? GE Vernova is offering a Co‑op / Internship Program designed to help you learn, grow, and make a real impact. As part of the program, you’ll work on meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop your leadership and communication skills and learn the GE Vernova way within your assigned function.

Program Duration:
Up to 28 weeks (approximately 7 months)

What You’ll Experience
  • Assignments & Projects: Work on projects aligned with your major to build practical experience.
  • Mentorship & Development: Learn from leaders across functions and develop leadership capabilities.
  • Exposure to Work Environment: Participate in hands‑on activities and cross‑functional collaboration.
Where You’ll Contribute
  • Project Scope & Technical Specification.
  • Project Contractual Timeline, Major Milestones, Targets, etc.
  • Project Planning & Scheduling of all Construction & Commissioning activities within the project time frame.
  • Project Site Organization and Site Establishment & Development Process.
  • Implementation of all Site Quality and Safety procedures.
  • Implementation of all Site Installation & Commissioning method statements and risk assessments.
  • Interfaces with Project Management for Project Execution Planning & Hindrances.
  • Interfaces with Engineering on Design / Drawings approvals from Clients / Consultants.
  • Interfaces with Procurement & Sourcing on Materials Deliveries.
  • Review of installation drawings and execution as per the drawings.
  • Forecasting in advance of critical tasks / material requirements to avoid delays.
  • Progress reporting & monitoring on daily, weekly & monthly basis.
  • Co‑ordination with Client / Consultants on Progress Status, Three‑weeks look‑ahead schedules, Progress Reporting & Invoicing.
  • Co‑ordination with different agencies and resources planning for each activity.
  • Progress Monitoring of Electrical Equipment Installation & Commissioning works.
  • Reporting of Non‑Conformance related to failures of Equipment’s / Components.
  • Reporting of ROE for each major Equipment’s for improvement Process for each activity.
What You Bring
  • Students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environment, Health & Safety).
  • Strong interest in EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, project, or extracurricular activities.
  • Passion for learning, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
  • Adaptable, open to change, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, site‑based environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia for project exposure.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to achieving project goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Basic understanding of construction safety principles and key site hazards (e.g., lifting, working at height, electrical work, confined spaces).
