Position Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced ELV Inspector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to support major building and infrastructure projects by ensuring Extra Low Voltage systems meet strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, reliable, and code‑compliant ELV installations across complex developments, supporting high‑value construction and smart building initiatives.

• Inspect ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, security, structured cabling, and related low voltage systems.
• Verify ELV installations comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, Saudi Building Code, and international standards such as NFPA and IEC.
• Review technical drawings, schematics, method statements, and material submittals related to ELV works.
• Conduct functional testing and commissioning inspections to confirm system performance and reliability.
• Identify non‑conformities, defects, and safety issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, test records, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and consultants to resolve ELV‑related technical issues.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input on ELV quality and compliance matters.
• Monitor installation progress to ensure adherence to approved schedules and quality benchmarks.
• Stay updated on ELV technologies, smart systems, and regulatory updates relevant to Saudi Arabia.

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in ELV inspection, testing, or supervision roles.
• Strong background in large‑scale building, infrastructure, or mixed‑use construction projects.

• In‑depth knowledge of ELV systems including fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and low voltage networks.
• Strong understanding of Saudi regulations and international ELV standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with ELV testing and inspection tools.
  
  Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Clear communication skills in English;
  Arabic language skills are an advantage.
