Key Responsibilities
- Define project timelines, budgets, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of RFQs/RFPs, quotations, and procurement processes.
- Monitor and control project progress to ensure alignment with defined objectives.
- Develop and implement cost-control mechanisms to manage expenditures.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction.
- Act as a central point of communication to align all teams across project phases.
- Optimize workflows and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project continuity and success.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed progress reports and operational insights to executive leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance operations.
- Calculate construction costs for materials, labor, and equipment to support budgeting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternatives to improve project outcomes.
- Strategically plan and manage labor, materials, and equipment to minimize waste and delays.
- Ensure resources are optimized to meet project pipelines efficiently.
- Anticipate future resource needs based on upcoming projects to avoid over commitment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in control, planning, or cost management roles, preferably in real estate development or construction.
- Strong knowledge of project planning tools and techniques, including Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent software.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, cost estimation, and budgeting within construction projects.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations in the construction industry.
- Expertise in project control and planning tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent team coordination and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in optimizing workflows and implementing lean methodologies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
