Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
- Use appropriate inspection tools, testing equipment, and measurement techniques to evaluate mechanical works.
- Analyze inspection results, identify defects or non‑conformances, and prepare clear technical inspection reports.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and quality documentation in line with project requirements.
- Ensure mechanical works comply with applicable international standards and local Saudi regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection methods and quality processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior inspectors and site teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures during all inspection activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within construction or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems, inspection standards, and mechanical codes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection plans.
- Proficiency in mechanical inspection tools and testing methodologies.
- Experience with CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian industry standards is an advantage.
- Relevant inspection certifications are preferred.
