Senior Structural Site Engineer

Overview

The Senior Structural Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all structural construction activities on site to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. The role involves managing site teams, subcontractors, inspections, and client coordination across all projects.

• Supervise and manage all structural site activities to ensure compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and the internal design team to ensure smooth execution of structural works.
• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions ensuring accuracy and constructability before implementation on site.
• Monitor site progress and ensure that structural works are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues on site and provide timely engineering solutions in coordination with the design team and consultants.
• Ensure all structural works comply with local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper execution of structural elements.
• Prepare and review site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on structural progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Support project handover and ensure all structural works are completed as per contractual and quality requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies to support innovation and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering and site supervision.
• Experience with Residential, hospitality, and Commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of RCC structures, structural steel, construction methodologies, building codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Professional engineering certification or membership is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge in structural engineering principles, construction methodologies, and site execution.
• Understanding and able to interpret structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
• Excellent project coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively through drawings and presentations.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and respond positively to feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building systems.
• Interest in staying updated on architectural trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Excellent English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
