- Support implementation of the Project HSE Plan in accordance with company policies, local regulations, and client requirements
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and environmental risks
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and safe work practices
- Monitor daily construction activities including runway, taxiway, apron, and airside works to ensure safe execution
- Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment by all personnel on site
- Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors to address safety concerns promptly
- Assist in preparation and review of Job Safety Analysis, risk assessments, and method statements
- Identify site hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
- Participate in toolbox talks and pre-task safety meetings
- Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to senior HSE personnel
- Assist with basic incident investigations and documentation
- Track corrective and preventive actions and support timely closure
- Support HSE inductions for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors
- Assist in delivery of toolbox talks and safety awareness programs
- Promote safe behavior and awareness across the project site
- Monitor environmental aspects including waste management, dust control, noise levels, and spill prevention
- Assist in implementing approved Environmental Management Plans
- Report environmental incidents or non-compliances
- Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists, permits, and attendance logs
- Prepare daily and weekly HSE reports under supervision
- Support maintenance of HSE registers and site documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure HSE compliance
- Provide basic HSE guidance to site teams during daily operations
- Support emergency preparedness activities and drills as required
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE roles within construction projects
- Exposure to infrastructure, airport, airfield, or runway projects is an advantage
- Experience working on active construction sites with multiple trades
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and HSE regulations
- Ability to identify hazards and report unsafe conditions
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports
- Willingness to work in a site-based, fast-paced construction environment
- Additional safety training such as IOSH or OSHA is an advantage
- Awareness of aviation and airside safety requirements
- Familiarity with HSE reporting formats and documentation
- Proactive attitude toward learning and professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Hands‑on exposure to major airport and airfield construction projects in Saudi Arabia
