A leading construction company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team for large-scale hotel and hospitality projects in Riyadh. This is a great opportunity for professionals with strong expertise in HVAC, MEP systems, and project commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Review and optimize designs for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and gas systems
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), NFPA, ASHRAE standards
- Evaluate equipment like chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and fire systems
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams using BIM tools
- Lead testing & commissioning (TAB, fire systems, gas testing)
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality & safety standards
- Manage documentation, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals
- Provide on-site leadership during installation and pre-opening phases
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC
- SCE Certification (Mandatory)
- Minimum 10+ years experience in large-scale projects (Hotels, Hospitals, Malls)
- Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection & gas systems
- Experience with hotel brands (Hilton, Marriott, IHG preferred)
- Experience leading teams and handling commissioning projects
