Senior Civil Engineer

We are working with a leading main contractor delivering a landmark project in Riyadh and are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the team on a major civil and infrastructure package.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the delivery of a complex, high-profile development, working alongside a highly experienced project team.

• Lead and coordinate civil engineering activities across design, construction, and delivery phases.
• Review engineering designs and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and local regulations.
• Manage site execution of major civil works, ensuring quality, safety, programme, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Review method statements, technical submissions, and construction methodologies.
• Support project planning, procurement, and stakeholder management activities.
• Ensure all civil works are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and engineering best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale civil and infrastructure projects with reputable contractors.
• Strong technical background in:
• Long-span bridge construction
• Major cut and fill earthworks
• Complex surface water and stormwater management systems
• Roads, utilities, and associated civil packages
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and engineering coordination activities.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, and engineering standards.
• Previous experience working on major projects in the Middle East is preferred.
