The Senior Road Engineer will oversee the planning, design review, and supervision of road works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design standards, and construction schedules.
Responsibilities- Review and approve road design drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings.
- Monitor road construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for technical issues and site progress.
- Verify quantities and ensure quality control on all roadwork-related activities.
- Review method statements and ensure safe, efficient work execution.
- Support the Project Manager in progress reporting, risk assessment, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to relevant authorities’ standards (MOT, RCRC, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in major road and highway projects.
- Strong knowledge of international and local design standards (AASHTO, MOT, etc.).
- Experience in PMC or supervision roles is preferred.
