Your Future Role
Take on a new challenge and apply your RAMS expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and highly skilled teammates.
You’ll ensure the delivery of RAMS activities and related deliverables, contributing to the safety, reliability, and performance of our projects. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and tender teams), coordinate with various Railway Safety and RAM stakeholders, and define safety and RAM requirements to meet Alstom’s high standards and policy goals, and much more.
Key Responsibilities- Defining safety requirements to ensure risks are at an acceptable level, as per Alstom’s Safety policy.
- Supporting Project(s)/Tender(s) performance by defining RAM requirements to meet expected RAM targets.
- Coordinating Railway Safety and RAM stakeholders involved in the Project(s)/Program(s)/Tender(s).
- Applying Alstom Railway Safety processes and instructions.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Preparing and delivering RAMS‑related documentation and reports.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of safety and reliability requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in RAMS processes and methodologies.

- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience or understanding of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) principles in the railway or similar industry.
- Familiarity with system engineering processes and lifecycle management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality outputs.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
- Problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
