We are seeking a Hydrology Specialist with proven experience in Saudi Arabia to support hydrological modeling, water resources analysis, and flood risk assessments for infrastructure, environmental, and municipal projects. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the preparation of hydrology reports according to the standards and requirements of Saudi municipalities.

• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling for watersheds, rivers, floodplains, wadis, and urban drainage systems.
• Analyze precipitation, streamflow, groundwater, and climate data relevant to Saudi Arabia to assess water availability, stormwater behavior, and flood risks.
• Prepare and review hydrology reports in compliance with municipality guidelines and standards in KSA.
• Support the design and evaluation of stormwater management systems, flood mitigation measures, and water infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, GIS specialists, and environmental scientists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Utilize advanced software tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE SHE, ArcGIS/QGIS, or similar platforms for modeling and analysis.
• Ensure alignment with Saudi codes, regulations, and municipality requirements for hydrological studies.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering (Water Resources), or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hydrological analysis and modeling, with at least 3 years of proven work in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing municipality-approved hydrology reports in KSA.
• Strong proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE SHE, ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Knowledge of Saudi environmental and municipal regulations, including flood risk management and stormwater design standards.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
