Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP works on site, ensuring delivery in line with programme, quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate and oversee MEP contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
- Review and manage MEP design, shop drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Drive construction activities through to successful testing, commissioning and handover.
- Interface closely with project stakeholders, including client, consultants and wider delivery teams.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain the programme.
- Ensure all MEP installations meet relevant codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality assurance, snagging and close‑out processes to achieve timely project completion.
- Champion health, safety and wellbeing across all MEP activities on site.
- Degree qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering (or a related discipline).
- Proven experience operating as an MEP manager on commercial office fit‑out projects or similar fast‑paced environments.
- Strong track record across construction, commissioning and handover phases.
- Experience working for a PMC, main contractor or delivery partner on large‑scale developments.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, public health and fire protection systems.
- Willingness and ability to work night shifts for a sustained period (9–12 months).
