Senior Design Manager – Structures

This role is an opportunity to lead structural design management on a high-profile luxury development where technical quality, coordination and efficient delivery are critical.

The purpose of this role is to provide senior structural design management across a major luxury project in Riyadh. You will oversee structural design delivery, consultant coordination, technical assurance and interface management to ensure the successful execution of structural packages across all project stages.

• Manage structural consultants and specialist engineering inputs across multiple project packages.
• Review calculations, reports, drawings and design submissions for quality, coordination and compliance.
• Coordinate closely with architecture, MEP, interiors, landscape and infrastructure teams.
• Lead technical workshops, design reviews and gateway submissions.
• Manage design risks, changes, value engineering and buildability reviews related to structural packages.
• Support programme planning and monitor consultant deliverables against milestones.
• Provide reporting and updates to project leadership and client teams.
• Support procurement activities, consultant scopes and technical evaluations where required.
• Mentor team members and support best practice in structural design management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Significant experience in structural design management on complex, high-value building developments.
• Strong understanding of structural systems, consultant coordination and multidisciplinary design processes.
• Ability to review and challenge technical design submissions effectively.
• Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in BIM-led project environments is preferred.
• Middle East experience, ideally on major luxury, hospitality or mixed-use projects, is strongly preferred.
