The Senior Stage Engineering Specialist shall be responsible for the planning, coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of all stage engineering systems within the project.

The role involves managing the technical delivery of specialized stage systems, including stage machinery, rigging systems, motorized hoists, orchestra lifts, stage lifts, movable platforms, acoustic banners, curtains, lighting bridges, catwalk systems, performer access systems, control systems, and associated interfaces with architectural, structural, MEP, ICT, AV, and operational systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, theatre planners, stage equipment suppliers, specialist contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure that all stage systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, operational requirements, and international industry standards.

Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Theatre Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience in stage engineering, theatre systems, entertainment venues, performing arts centers, arenas, convention centers, or major cultural projects.

Proven experience in large-scale venues such as theatres, opera houses, arenas, stadiums, convention centers, performing arts centers, or large entertainment developments.

Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is preferred.

Strong knowledge of stage machinery, rigging systems, theatrical automation systems, lifting equipment, motion control systems, and performance venue operations.

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
