Here, expect the exceptional.This role will be central to ensuring that MEP systems are coordinated, efficient, buildable and aligned with the performance expectations of a major luxury project.
Your next roleThe purpose of this role is to manage MEP design delivery across a landmark luxury development in Riyadh. You will oversee consultant coordination, technical reviews, design integration and risk management to ensure all MEP systems support the project’s operational, guest experience and sustainability objectives.
Your key duties- Manage MEP design development across all project phases, ensuring alignment with project brief, programme and budget.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ELV and specialist systems design deliverables.
- Review consultant submissions for completeness, compliance, coordination and technical quality.
- Lead coordination with architectural, structural, interior design and infrastructure teams to resolve clashes and interface issues.
- Support technical design reviews, workshops and design gateway approvals.
- Track design risks, RFIs, change requests and technical issues to closure.
- Participate in value engineering and design optimisation exercises focused on efficiency, maintainability and luxury user experience.
- Support the preparation of scopes, RFPs and technical evaluations for consultants and specialist suppliers.
- Monitor deliverable programmes and consultant performance.
- Provide regular progress reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven MEP design management experience on major high‑end developments.
- Strong knowledge of building services coordination and multidisciplinary design processes.
- Good understanding of technical standards, authority requirements and construction interfaces.
- Experience in BIM coordination and digital design environments is preferred.
- Strong organisational, reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus on quality and delivery.
- Middle East experience, ideally on luxury or large‑scale projects, is preferred.
- A key role on a signature luxury project in Riyadh.
- Exposure to technically challenging, design‑led and high‑profile project work.
