The Planning Engineer at RPC Co. will be responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules for shoring, piling, and dewatering works. This full-time, on-site role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia includes coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align resources, timelines, and construction activities. Daily tasks include preparing baseline and updated schedules, tracking progress, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions to keep projects on time and within scope.
The Planning Engineer will also support project control functions, including reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. The role requires regular site visits to gather data, validate production rates, and ensure that plans reflect actual site conditions.
- Strong planning and production planning skills to develop, optimize, and maintain realistic project schedules.
- Proven analytical skills and experience in project control to track progress, analyze deviations, and support decision-making.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present schedule and progress reports clearly.
- Proficiency with project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in geotechnical, shoring, piling, or heavy civil construction projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, productivity norms, and resource planning in an on-site environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to health, safety, and quality standards.
