Senior Network and Security Engineer

At least 5 to 8 years experience working as a Senior Network Security Engineer or other relevant positions.

• Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and BGP
• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers
• Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
• Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructure
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
• Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology
• Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to design, implement, and support internal and external networks.
• Significant experience in building and maintaining wired and wireless systems
• Good experience in implementing the switches, Wireless controller, gateways, etc.
• Good experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, NAC,and network monitoring tools
• In-depth knowledge of datacenter and branches design and setup.
• Good familiarity with the latest Wireless and security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Resolve any issues related to network perimeter and wired and wireless infrastructure devices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize projects.
• An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-wide level

• Education Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Courses and Certificates
  • Certifications needed or equivalent specialty experience
  • Aruba wireless professional or Cisco CCNP wireless
  • Aruba ACSP or Cisco CCNP enterprise
  • Expert-level ACX or CCIE certification is a plus
• Professional Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, and manage multiple projects with different timelines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in both Arabic & English
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
