Outfitting Engineer

• Supervise and support the fabrication and installation of piping systems, hull outfitting components, and insulation works
• Apply technical knowledge of pipe bending, welding techniques for piping, non‑destructive testing (NDT), and pipe treatment
• Monitor and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self‑inspections, and quality plans in compliance with client and classification society requirements
• Ensure strict adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and ISO 45001
• Collaborate with production, QA/QC, and HSE teams to support safety and risk prevention practices (ORP – intermediate level)
• Contribute to surface preparation and painting supervision (certifications in this area are a plus)
• Interpret and review technical drawings and 3D models using tools like FORAN
• Manage documentation and reports through SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)

• Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in shipbuilding projects, specifically in piping, outfitting, and insulation
• Familiarity with classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s)
• Proficiency in FORAN, SAP, and standard office tools
• English level B2 minimum (advanced level preferred)
• Additional certifications in surface treatment or painting are a strong advantage
