YourJob Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the fabrication and installation of piping systems, hull outfitting components, and insulation works
- Apply technical knowledge of pipe bending, welding techniques for piping, non‑destructive testing (NDT), and pipe treatment
- Monitor and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self‑inspections, and quality plans in compliance with client and classification society requirements
- Ensure strict adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and ISO 45001
- Collaborate with production, QA/QC, and HSE teams to support safety and risk prevention practices (ORP – intermediate level)
- Contribute to surface preparation and painting supervision (certifications in this area are a plus)
- Interpret and review technical drawings and 3D models using tools like FORAN
- Manage documentation and reports through SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
- Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in shipbuilding projects, specifically in piping, outfitting, and insulation
- Familiarity with classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s)
- Proficiency in FORAN, SAP, and standard office tools
- English level B2 minimum (advanced level preferred)
- Additional certifications in surface treatment or painting are a strong advantage
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments
