Occupational Health & Safety, Operations Manager, Environmental Compliance
Purpose
We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer for our depot at Riyadh and for our work at customer and project premises. The HSE Officer will develop, maintain, and implement the Company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management System, implementing safe systems of work and safe behavioural practices at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities- Monitor and improve Health, Safety & Environment performance in compliance with local and legal legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise and coordinate with Project Managers, Location Managers, Service Managers, Service Team Leaders to ensure compliance with Aggreko’s HSE policies and Management System.
- Conduct in‑depth investigation for all HSE related incidents and liaise with local management teams and the QHSE Officer (KSA) for creation and implementation of immediate and corrective action plans.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers for all HSE related requirements in conjunction with the QHSE Officer (KSA).
- Conduct internal HSE inductions at a local level encompassing all relevant staff and sub‑contractors.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders in preparation for Risk Assessments and Method Statements as per scope of work.
- Prepare and support completion of Pre‑Qualification questionnaire and required documents to support customer requirements.
- Support audits and inspections in conjunction with QHSE Officer (KSA) as and when required.
- Visit and attend local customer sites as requested.
- Monitor vehicle trackers, coordinate installation and removal of trackers and dashcams, and download vehicle tracking and dashcam details as requested.
- NEBOSH IGC and IOSH safety management qualifications (required).
- Minimum three years of experience ensuring HSE for (electro) mechanical industrial work.
- Experience ensuring safety on the depot and in the field at customer premises.
- Knowledge/experience with short‑cycle delivery projects (e.g., large events).
- Knowledge/experience with the oil and gas sector (nice to have).
- Possession of a valid local driving licence.
- Availability to travel frequently within KSA.
- Fluent command of English.
- Saudi Arabian citizenship.
- Based at or nearby Riyadh, KSA.
