The ideal candidate combines technical understanding of solar systems with strong commercial acumen to deliver competitive, reliable, and compliant procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for PV modules, inverters, BOS components, mounting systems, cables, and balance of system equipment aligned with project timelines and budget.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers; lead RFQs, bids, negotiations, and award recommendations.
  • Perform total cost of ownership analysis, risk assessments, and supplier risk mitigation planning.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms, including lead times, payment terms, warranties, and service Level Agreements; manage contract lifecycle and amendments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and legal teams to ensure design for procurement, standardization, and compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, conduct regular scorecards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive procurement planning, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization to support project schedules and reducing working capital.
  • Ensure ethical sourcing, sustainability considerations, and compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
  • Support supplier onboarding, onboarding documentation, and supplier development initiatives to enhance cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of procurement experience, with demonstrated exposure to solar or renewable energy projects; nuts-and-bolts understanding of PV modules, inverters, cables, racking, and balance-of-system components preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and data‑driven decision-making skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities; ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory and import/export requirements, customs procedures, and risk management practices.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to impact large-scale solar deployments and accelerate the transition to clean energy.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment with potential for career growth.
