Transport & Mobility Consultant

Your key duties

• Contribute to the successful delivery of transport and mobility projects across Riyadh and the wider Middle East, supporting high- quality technical and commercial outcomes.
• Take ownership of defined tasks and technical work streams, with responsibility for producing robust analysis, clear recommendations and well-structured deliverables.
• Provide technical input across transport planning assignments, including transport master plans, strategic transport studies, access and parking assessments, and mobility advisory projects.
• Support the development of strategic advice for clients and stakeholders on transport- related solutions, with a focus on integration with the urban realm, sustainable and equitable travel, and client objectives.
• Prepare high- quality technical reports, presentations and other client- facing outputs to a consistently strong standard.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal multidisciplinary teams through clear communication and proactive coordination.
• Contribute to a high- performing team culture by demonstrating initiative, curiosity, accountability, responsiveness and a willingness to learn.
• Support business development and work- winning activities through research, proposal inputs, presentation materials and market awareness.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transport planning or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in transport planning, with experience contributing to a range of transport projects in the Middle East, including strategic studies, master plans, access and parking studies.
• Working knowledge of transport- related software and programmes, including GIS, VISSIM, VISUM, Synchro and Sidra.
• Strong understanding of core transport planning principles, with an interest in future mobility and emerging transport technologies.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and technical work streams with appropriate supervision, while taking ownership of quality and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations and technical notes.
• Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems and contribute positively within a fast- paced, high- performing team.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing deadlines and respond effectively under pressure.
• A proactive and professional attitude, with a strong desire to develop into a trusted consultant and future project leader.
