MEP Procurement Engineer

Job Summary

Manage the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for construction and industrial projects. Ensure timely delivery, cost-effective sourcing, and compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP procurement.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Review material requisitions, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain and analyze quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, technical office, and site teams regarding procurement requirements.
• Ensure materials and equipment comply with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and cost reports.
