MEP Estimation Engineer – Industrial O&M

Job Summary

Prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial proposals for industrial operation and maintenance (O&M) projects. Analyze technical requirements, scope of work, manpower, materials, and equipment to develop competitive and profitable bids.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably in industrial O&M projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance practices, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Review RFQs, technical specifications, and scope of work documents.
• Prepare cost estimates for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Develop BOQs, pricing schedules, and commercial proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and engineering teams.
• Assess project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support tender submissions and client clarifications.
• Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
