The Materials Architecture Engineer plays a key role in advancing material innovation and engineering excellence within the organization. The position focuses on integrating materials science with engineering applications to improve performance, sustainability, and efficiency across projects.

This role is suited for forward-thinking professionals who are passionate about material innovation, sustainability, and the development of advanced solutions that enhance operational and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis of innovative construction and engineering materials, ensuring compliance with performance, durability, and sustainability requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify material requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and engineering solutions.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee testing procedures for new materials using advanced analytical tools and industry-standard methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure appropriate material selection aligned with project objectives, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging trends and advancements in materials science and engineering, incorporating best practices into ongoing and future projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, assessments, and presentations on material performance, including recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Support implementation of efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable material management practices across projects.
  • Deliver training and knowledge‑sharing sessions for engineering teams on new materials, applications, and technical advancements.
  • Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and technical forums to enhance professional knowledge and represent the organization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (preferred) or Civil Engineering from a recognized university
  • 5–10 years of experience in materials engineering, construction materials, or related technical roles within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of architectural materials, finishes, specifications, and performance requirements
  • Experience in material selection, testing, evaluation, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes
  • Knowledge of international standards, building codes, and specifications related to construction materials and architectural systems
  • Familiarity with sustainable materials, green building practices, and innovative façade and finishing solutions
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail in material performance and application
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and laboratory test reports
  • Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams
  • Professional certifications in architecture, materials, or QA/QC are an advantage
