Job Summary

Creating detailed mechanical system designs and schematics for various projects. Analyzing project requirements, developing and testing mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver efficient and reliable designs. Provide innovative solutions that meet technical specifications and project objectives while optimizing performance and cost.

• Design and develop detailed mechanical system designs, schematics, and layouts for projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure designs are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local mechanical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, perform system testing, and provide solutions to technical problems that occur during the implementation phase.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.
• Obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job and have a vision and plan for career path to achieve it.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems arising and elevate any complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
• Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience in mechanical design.
