Position: Electrical Quality Engineer (MV and ELV)

A leading international contractor who are currently working on a mega building construction project in Riyadh are currently looking to recruit an experienced electrical quality engineer with highlighted experience in medium, low and extra low voltage systems.

The role will include the following:

Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and effectiveness of the Project Quality System.

To discuss any specification concessions required, with the Assistant QA/QC Manager prior to a formal submission to the Qiddiya.

To report any out of specification activities to the QA/QC Manager for the appropriate action.

To ensure that external and internal testing schedule conducted and test results are reviewed for compliance.

Monitor sub-contractor's works with regards to quality in accordance with specification and ITP.

Candidates should have an electrical degree and experience of being an electrical quality engineer on major building construction projects in saudi arabia. Candidates should have experience of the following codes and standards:

National Electrical Code (NEC/NFPA 70), IEC Standards, or equivalent international standards.
Building Systems, Control Systems, and Infrastructure Systems.
Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, specifications, and project requirements for SEC scope works.
North American and International Telecommunications Standards.
BICSI Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM).
National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and other relevant electrical safety standards.
Familiar with applicable fire alarm, lightning protection, ELV, ICT, security, audiovisual (AV), and building management system (BMS) standards and codes.
