The Senior Structural Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. This role is responsible for leading structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, code compliance, and constructability. The engineer will develop and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, and project managers. Day-to-day tasks include using CAD and engineering software to produce and validate designs, performing design optimization, providing technical guidance to junior engineers, and supporting quality assurance processes.
The role also involves participating in project meetings, responding to client and contractor queries, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and procedures.
Qualifications- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with demonstrated experience in structural design for buildings and/or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis, including the use of relevant analysis tools and methods to assess load‑bearing capacity, stability, and performance.
- Hands‑on experience with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating structural drawings and details.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in the Middle East region and familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
- Ability to lead projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality in design.
- Professional engineering license or eligibility for registration is an advantage.
