Resident Engineer

We have partnered with a Tier 1 Architectural and Engineering Consulting firm in Riyadh, KSA who are looking to hire an experienced Resident Engineer to lead the successful delivery of high-profile projects.

As the Resident Engineer, you will oversee the construction process to ensure design intent is accurately implemented, contractual requirements are met, and projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Lead site supervision, contract administration, and construction management activities.
• Coordinate with the Design Manager, Project Management team, Client Representatives, and Contractors.
• Chair site progress meetings and monitor project performance.
• Review and approve technical submittals, material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, procedures, as-built drawings, and inspection requests.
• Monitor contractors  progress to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure effective administration of contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions.

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, including 15 years on similar projects
  .
• At least 10 years of experience in Saudi Arabia
  .
• Certified member of the Saudi Council of Engineers
  .
• Extensive experience delivering high-rise buildings and hotel projects
  .
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts and construction/site management.
• Transferable Iqama is required.
• Previous experience with a leading consultancy firm in the Gulf region is highly desirable
• Excellent written and spoken English;
  Arabic is an advantage.
