Job Description Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Transportation Manager with 12–15 years of experience to join our Traffic Engineering and Strategic Advisory Business Unit in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be a degree-qualified professional with strong expertise in transport planning and traffic engineering within the Middle East region.
Your role- Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Design, analyze, and optimize traffic control systems, including signals, signage, and road network layouts.
- Conduct traffic studies, simulations, and data analysis to enhance traffic flow, efficiency, and safety.
- Develop and implement traffic management strategies and policies aligned with project and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including urban planning, construction, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national traffic regulations and standards.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated on advancements in smart mobility, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and emerging transportation technologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning, preferably in the Middle East.
- Proven experience in managing large‑scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Strong proficiency in traffic modeling tools such as Aimsun, VISSIM, Synchro, or similar platforms.
- In‑depth understanding of traffic regulations, safety standards, and regional guidelines.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Experience with ITS, smart mobility solutions, and sustainable transportation initiatives.
