Systems Integration Manager - Rail
Location:

Salary: 50,000‑70,000 SAR (estimated)
OverviewLead the technical integration of multidisciplinary rail systems on a complex infrastructure program in Riyadh. The role requires strong knowledge of railway systems engineering, interface management, requirements control, configuration coordination, testing, commissioning, trial operations, and operational readiness across signaling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Lead coordination and integration of railway systems including signaling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- Manage technical interfaces between rail systems, civil infrastructure, stations, depots, operational environments, external stakeholders, and specialist system providers.
- Establish, maintain, and control system interface registers to ensure all interfaces are identified, assigned, tracked, coordinated, and closed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver integrated system design solutions across concept, detailed design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover stages.
- Ensure integration between infrastructure, stations, depots, operational systems, external interfaces, and airport‑related systems where applicable.
- Coordinate with operators, authorities, contractors, consultants, specialist vendors, and operational stakeholders to support successful systems integration.
- Facilitate systems integration workshops, technical coordination meetings, interface resolution sessions, and integration readiness reviews.
- Support systems engineering activities covering requirements management, interface management, verification, validation, traceability, and technical assurance.
- Work closely with configuration management and requirements management teams to maintain consistency across project systems, documents, baselines, and technical decisions.
- Identify systems integration risks, interface conflicts, unresolved dependencies, operational gaps, and technical challenges.
- Develop mitigation strategies that support project objectives, operational safety, schedule control, maintainability, and long‑term system performance.
- Lead systems integration reviews to verify that interfaces, operational needs, functional requirements, and project requirements are properly addressed.
- Monitor integration progress and support timely resolution of technical, operational, contractor, and stakeholder issues.
- Support testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, SIT, integrated testing, trial operations, and operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, railway standards, safety expectations, operational objectives, systems engineering processes, and contractual obligations.
- Support construction and delivery teams by ensuring system interfaces are clearly defined, communicated, implemented, and verified.
- Provide technical direction on tender documentation, design development, systems integration requirements, and interface control deliverables.
- Prepare integration reports, risk updates, action trackers, technical summaries, review comments, and management presentations for project leadership.
- Promote disciplined integration governance, clear communication, and practical issue resolution across multidisciplinary and multinational project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in rail projects, railway systems, rail operations, transportation infrastructure, or major multidisciplinary programs.
- Strong knowledge of railway systems including signaling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, depot systems, and platform systems.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and complex systems interfaces on major infrastructure projects.
