The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Project Director provides strategic oversight and leadership for the planning, design, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. They ensure that all MEP aspects align with project goals, budgets, and timelines, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and mitigating risks to deliver high-quality and efficient MEP systems.

Develop and oversee strategic plans for the design and implementation of MEP systems, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
Lead and manage the MEP project team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall project design and execution.
Develop and manage the MEP budget, monitoring expenses and implementing cost‑saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure MEP installations meet design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Identify potential risks related to MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with MEP contractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery of materials and services.
Oversee the progress of MEP installations, conducting regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
Ensure all MEP work complies with relevant local, national, and international building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction with MEP systems and project outcomes.
Job Knowledge & Skills15 to 18 years working experience with mega contracting companies for handling high rise or hotel building projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design, installation, and industry standards.
Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to oversee complex MEP projects effectively.
Proven leadership and team management skills to guide, support, and motivate a multidisciplinary project team.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective coordination with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly, ensuring project continuity and success.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
