Brief
We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to join our project team and work on the site for a landmark high-rise development in Riyadh. The successful candidates will be responsible for the direct execution, coordination, and delivery of all electrical works, ensuring installations are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and quality standards.
The role requires extensive experience in high-rise tower construction, strong technical expertise in electrical building services, and the ability to manage subcontractors, direct labor, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout all phases of construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Act as the Main Contractor's/Developer's site engineer, taking full responsibility for direct execution, resourcing, and delivery of electrical works — not limited to a supervisory or consultancy role.
- Supervise and execute installation of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-current, BMS) as per approved design.
- Coordinate electrical works sequencing with civil, mechanical, and architectural site activities.
- Implement approved shop drawings and ensure site works match the BIM-coordinated model.
- Conduct and record formal site work inspections at each stage of electrical installation (containment, first fix, second fix, testing) prior to sign-off and progression to the next stage.
- Manage direct labor crews and/or subcontractors performing electrical works, and verify progress and material compliance.
- Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and measurement of executed electrical works for interim payment certificates and variation/change order evaluation.
- Coordinate directly with the Technical Team and design consultants on RFIs and site queries affecting electrical works.
- Coordinate with SEC and relevant authorities for utility connections in the Riyadh region.
- Supervise and mentor Junior Electrical Engineers assigned to respective work fronts.
- Support testing and commissioning activities and witness inspections with the consultant/client.
- Maintain inspection and test records and support quality/safety compliance for electrical works.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- PMP certification is considered an advantage.
- Additional certifications in electrical systems, testing and commissioning, or BIM are an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and construction.
- Proven experience in high-rise tower projects
. - Experience may be gained anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Strong background in building electrical systems, power distribution, low-current systems, fire alarm systems, BMS, and testing & commissioning.
- Previous experience with leading developers or Tier-1 contractors is highly desirable.
