The development includes Construction of Public Realm around project of mixed-use buildings, academies, a traditional Najdi-style local mosque, a digital art museum, and a unique mud-brick cinema with underground parking.
Job SummaryThe Audio Visual (AV) Specialist shall be responsible for the planning, design review, coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of Audio Visual systems across the project assets, including commercial offices, residential towers, retail spaces, conference facilities, entertainment venues, public areas, and smart building environment.
The role ensures that all AV systems meet project specifications, client requirements, industry standards, and operational needs while coordinating closely with architects, consultants, MEP teams, ICT/ELV contractors, and end users. Key responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and resolving construction issues, working closely with the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) team of over 80 site professionals. As discipline Specialist, you will ensure the project meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and design integrity.
This role requires a strategic leader with the expertise to execute a vision, manage resources, and deliver outstanding results within set timelines and budgets.
- Review AV system designs, drawings, materials and other submittals to ensure compliance with Design intent and technical specifications.
- Coordinate AV requirements with architects, interior designers, MEP, ICT, and ELV disciplines.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate AV installations with construction schedules.
- Interface with consultants, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
- Resolve site coordination issues and clashes.
- Identify installation errors or equipment deficiencies, issue site instructions or snag lists, and verify contractor rectification.
- Conduct functional testing of AV equipment.
- Conduct inspections and quality audits.
- Review O&M manuals and as‑built documentation.
- Support project handover and warranty activities.
- Participate in project closeout documentation and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Perform system integration testing.
- Enforce quality standards and safety regulations throughout the construction process.
- Provide guidance and support to engineering teams and junior engineers.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with the design.
- Coordinating with Client, PMC, contractors, other construction professionals (e.g., architects, engineers), and the design team.
- Identifying and resolving any construction issues or discrepancies that arise during the project.
- Providing regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Typically a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication or Audio Engineering. An advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, or project management with proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of Residential, Hospitality Museums projects, preferably in the Middle East region.
- Certifications from industry authorities such as AVIXA (e.g., CTS-D or CTS-I) are highly desired to validate expertise.
- Excellent understanding of local and international codes, guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to landscape architecture.
- Strong understanding of Audio Video principles and construction practices.
- Experience with construction supervision, including reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and resolving issues.
