Associate HSE Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our team. The role will support the development and implementation of policies and practices that identify and mitigate hazardous conditions in the workplace and external environments. The position requires broad theoretical knowledge and is performed under close supervision as you develop your professional capabilities in the HSE field.

• Assist in developing and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines that comply with applicable regulations and standards.
• Support the implementation of safety programs and initiatives designed to prevent workplace accidents and environmental incidents.
• Collaborate in executing and monitoring HSE initiatives across departments, track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help maintain documentation related to HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and operations to identify potential environmental and safety hazards.
• Assist in monitoring workplace conditions to ensure compliance with established health and safety standards.
• Support the operation, maintenance, and calibration of health, safety and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Participate in investigating workplace accidents and environmental incidents under supervision.
• Document findings from investigations and assist in developing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Compile data and prepare reports.
• Support the development and delivery of HSE training materials for employees.
• Assist in conducting safety awareness sessions and basic training programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, environmental engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in HSE or related field.
• Knowledge of HSE principles, regulations, and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
