Job Description ## About the RoleBEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled
** Technical Structural Engineer
** to join our Technical Department in Riyadh. As a key contributor to our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing structural systems for some of the most ambitious construction and infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. From commercial skyscrapers to government mega-projects, your work will directly impact the success of initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision  this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, project managers, and construction professionals, to ensure the structural integrity, safety, and sustainability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
* ** Design and analyze
** structural systems for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with the
** Saudi Building Code (SBC)
** and international standards.
* ** Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications
** using advanced software tools such as
** ETABS**,
** SAP
2000**, and
** AutoCAD Civil 3D**.
* ** Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams
** to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
* ** Conduct site inspections and assessments
** to verify structural integrity and adherence to design specifications.
* ** Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals
** for structural components.
* ** Ensure compliance with safety standards
** such as
** ISO 45001
** and
** NEBOSH
* * guidelines during the design and construction phases.
* ** Coordinate with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
** to maintain professional registration and ensure regulatory compliance.
* ** Perform structural retrofitting and rehabilitation designs
** for existing structures as required.
* ** Develop and implement quality assurance procedures
** to maintain high standards in structural engineering deliverables.
* ** Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends
** in structural engineering to enhance project outcomes.
* ** Provide technical guidance and mentorship
** to junior engineers and interns within the department.##

Required Qualifications
* ** Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
** or
** Structural Engineering
** from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of
** 7 years of professional experience
** in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
* Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including
** ETABS**,
** SAP
2000**,
** SAFE**, and
** AutoCAD Civil 3D**.
* Strong knowledge of
** Saudi Building Code (SBC)
** and international standards such as
** ACI
* * and
** Eurocode**.
* Registration with the
** Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)**.
* Familiarity with
** GOSI
* * and other regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.##
