Senior Electrical Procurement Engineer

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Electrical Procurement Engineer to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting major construction and infrastructure projects by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement of electrical materials and systems.

• Lead procurement activities for electrical materials, equipment, and systems.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure accurate material sourcing.
• Prepare RFQs, analyze vendor quotations, and conduct commercial and technical evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, and project teams to meet project timelines.
• Identify and prequalify new vendors to expand supplier database.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations.
• Manage procurement documentation and reporting.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical procurement within construction or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and international standards.
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience in the Saudi market is a must
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
